About Us

Who We Are

Influential Missions registered as a not-for-profit charity organisation in 2012, and provided humanitarian relief in Australia, South Africa, Thailand and Pakistan.

Our Story

Mission work started during April 2012, when a team of Bible College students went on an outreach to the Northern Territory community of Papunya, Australia. In December 2012, a Not for Profit charity organisation was registered at the Australian Charities and Not for Profits Commission and we started working under the name Influential Missions & Outreach Programs Inc. Influential Missions was registered as a Public Benevolent Institution and we received Deductible Gift Recipient status. Teams continued Aboriginal outreaches to Papunya and Yuendumu during October 2013, October 2014 and April 2016. We supported families in Adelaide by providing food and clothing and visiting the sick.

We started a partnership with C3 Church, Faisalabad, Pakistan in November 2014. Our first project was to support widows and children and the elderly, by providing monthly food parcels and medical assistance. We also helped to keep the children in school to finish their education Asher Zia and Sadaf Asher became members of Influential Missions and moved into the IM building on the 5th of September 2015. On the 12th of June 2016, Influential Missions opened a Sewing School.

In October 2016, we started ministry in Bangkok, Thailand, providing in the immediate needs of Asylum seeker families.  Influential Missions also provided English lessons to educate orphaned children in reading English.

In September 2017, Influential Missions started the Sanitation Project and built the first two toilets at a brickyard village on the outskirts of Faisalabad. Water pumps were installed to provide brick maker families with safe drinking water. During January 2018 we did a Medical Mission Outreach to Faisalabad, Pakistan. Many medical field clinics followed, lead by Sadaf, a registered nurse.

The Covid pandemic had a huge effect on the charitable work we could do in 2020 and 2021. Like all other charities, we had more people who needed help and less money to meet their needs. We provided food and medical assistance to many families during this time.

After the Covid pandemic Influential Missions extended charitable work to South Africa, when we formed a partnership with another registered charity organisation during 2022. We focus on supporting families with children, and the elderly, by paying for doctor’s consultations, medical tests and medication.
